Weekly reflection

This week I really enjoyed going to tech. I enjoyed it because we made delicious scones.

One success I had this week was finishing most of my tasks.

I really found my maths and knowledge tests challenging. It was challenging because most questions were hard and I had to think of a answer in a limited amount of time.

One thing I learnt this week was learning what learning lots about saints, mainly Saint Peter Chanel.

I am really looking forward to all the sports events happening next week.

I have shown this weeks value by making the right choices.

All Saints day task

This week our task for R.E was to study a saint. My saint to study was Saint Peter Chanel. I learnt where he was canonised and who canonised him. I also learnt what canonisation was. I really enjoyed this task because I learn lots about saints. Do you know who Saint Peter Chanel is?

Outdoor Fun

During the first week of the holidays I had my 13th birthday.

Me and

my family planned to go spend the day over the coast diving,

fishing and spending time together. When we arrived at my nan's

house we geared up all our stuff onto the motorbikes because

the truck wouldn't make it up the maunga.

When we got over the hill me,

my dad and cousin grabbed the fishing rods and walked

over to the ledge of the rocks.

30 minutes later my dad got two big snappers, and sadly

I got nothing.

After 1 hour of fishing my dad and I geared up and went

for a kina and

paua dive. While my dad and I were in the water my mum,

aunty and cousin

were roasting marshmallows and cooking food for our dinner

since it was

5:00pm. After a long burning day in the sun we make our long

journey back

to nans. We got back to our house at 8:20pm, and as soon

as we walked in

the house we all sat on the couch and rested.

On a wet dark Friday morning me and my family all went up

to the Great

Expedition fishing competition  for the weekend.

As we drove into the area we see

heaps of cars, trucks and motorbikes all over the grassy field.

After being

told the rules of the competition we headed out to the

beach, little did we

know the sea was roaring and rough. We fished from

5:00pm to 1:00am.

When we left to go up to the prize giving there was a

huge line of cars and

trucks. It took 15 minutes to get through to the grounds.

Prize giving took

5 hours due to the amount of prizes and people there.

I really enjoyed my holidays.
