Taste test for Mahi Tahi
Today for mahi tahi we did a taste testing task. The aim of the task was to show integrity, be co-operative, use our senses, be risk takers and most importantly is to have fun! How it worked was there would be 4 in a group, one that tastes and then describes to the other person with a blindfold then that person that is getting all the information from the taster would have to guess what the food was. The other 2 people would record what the person who guess the food thinks it is.
Have you ever been taste testing?

Reflection about Cross country
yesterday we had our whole School cross-country.
I heard my class mates cheering as I crossed the finish line. I saw the finish line in the distance the race was coming to a end. I felt exhausted and relieved after I cross the finish line. I smelt enormous cow poo everywhere I went. I wondered when will the race finish.

My holiday
My holiday
I heard the rain pouring down on the field and my teammates coughing and getting sick.
I saw the opposition expressing their feelings through the haka they were doing.
I felt prepared and proud for coming and representing my area Mangonui.
I wondered who will leave the field with the win and go to the final and win the Taniwha Cup.
Have you ever been in a big tournament before?

My 4 sentences about my holiday.
I heard fish viciously tear apart its food like a hadn't eaten for a while.
I saw razor sharp fins approaching me like a car was on a highway.
I felt anxious and frightened cause of this massive hungry fish lurking beside me ready to strike at any moment.
I wondered when will this terrifying fish attack?
