Last Wednesday we went down to the Te ahu building and into the museum. We had to walk from our school through the town and to the Te ahu building. We were all excited to see all of the history of the far north. for the whole term we have been learning about local and New Zealand history like the wars and the Te tiriti o Waitaingi and other stuff.

After all of that we went to her office and we gave her the paper she gave us a massive block of kauri gum and she told us to smell it and to tell her what it smelled like I said it smelled like honey. We sat on the ground and we marked the paper. After that we went back to school it was so fun my favorite thing was the anchor of the saint jeans babteste ship.

Have you been to your local museum before? comment down what you saw.
We went to the museum to consolidate the learning we have been doing in Kakapo on NZ and local history - what exciting artefacts did you see that we have been researching Koby? :)
