TUI 2017

This year we did HEAPS of learning like making blog posts,smoothies,ice cream,art and a whole lot of other stuff. My favorite memory was when we made smoothies. They were so good. We had to do some studying on some smoothie ingredients.

I loved this year it has to be my favorite!!

This year we read a book called Wonder. Wonder has a very powerful message. Wonder is about a boy named August/Auggie. He has a deformed face. He has had 27 surgery's!!!! auggie has a friend named jack will.

This week we have been learning about the royal albatross,Here are some facts:)

The Royal Albatross

The Royal Albatross ( Diomedea epomophora ) is a huge seabird that is living in New Zealand and other country's.The Royal Albatross can spread is wings 2.9-3.3 M. A adult  Royal Albatross ways about 8.5 kg's. The Royal Albatross can live up to 42 years!,the size of the the bird is approximately 1.1-1.2. 

THE PYRAMIDS OF GIZA!!

The pyramids of Giza are one of the oldest man made structures ever built.

The pyramids are located in Egypt near Giza.

The pyramids were built with big thick stone blocks that weighed 2-15 tones each!

The pyramids were ruled by a pharaoh named Khufu.Khufu wanted a pyramid for his burial place.

The great pyramid was organally 488 ft (137) tall.
The pyramids took 20 years to bulid.

There are seven places in the pyramid the queens chamber,the kings chamber, 3 air shrafs,the subterranean chamber and the grand gallery.

The pyramids are 3D shapes.They are faced N,W,S,E
When the pharaoh dies they be come mummified.
The pyramids are one of the oldest ancient wonders of the world.
